Hi there! My name is Aodán and I am the founder of The Killarney Touring Co., a private guided day tour company based in the picturesque town of Killarney in County Kerry. I have always had a passion for exploring new places and meeting new people, which led me to start this business.
I grew up in here in Killarney, surrounded by outstanding natural beauty such as Irelands tallest mountain range, The MacGillicuddy Reeks, the Killarney National Park and of course the world famous Lakes of Killarney.
I developed a love for the outdoors and a thirst for knowledge of the history and culture of my community.
I have worked in tourism and hospitality for over twenty years and my desire to share my passion for travel and adventure with others has never waned.
This year, I decided to take the leap and start The Killarney Touring Co.. I have been a professional Driver/Guide since 2018 and I have had the pleasure of showing countless visitors the hidden gems and unique experiences the Kingdom of Kerry and Irelands South West has to offer. Whether we are exploring historic landmarks, tasting local cuisine, or hiking through breathtaking landscapes, my goal is to provide a fun, safe, and unforgettable experience for each of my guests.
With custom made itineraries and expert knowledge of the region, I am eagerly looking forward to showcasing the very best that this enchanting corner of the world has to offer.
